Kinsman Redeemer (Ruth) - Precept Upon Precept
Author: Kay Arthur
Dates: Tuesdays, June 28 - July 20
Time: 9:00 am Room: Offsite
Dates: Tuesdays, June 28 - July 20
Time: 7:00 pm Room: 236
Leader: Cheryl Schweizer
NOTE: No childcare available for these classes
If you were a slave, who would buy your freedom? If you had an enemy, who would come to your defense? In the Old Testament, this buyer-defender known as a "kinsman redeemer" was usually a close relative. If you're a believer, you already have one - Jesus Christ! This rich study shows how Jesus both bought us (redeemer) and advocates for us (defends), offering us an opportunity to rebuild our broken lives. A great study to introduce you to inductive Bible study.
NOTE: Only those registered by June 6 will have a book available for purchase in the bookstore. Late registrants will be responsible for getting their own book.

Living Like You Belong to God Closed
Author: Kay Arthur
Dates: Wednesdays, June 16 - July 21
Time: 6:00 pm Room: 236
Leader: Kate Williams
Can others see that you belong to God? God calls us to a life of joy, obedience, and trust. He calls us to be different from those around us. He calls us to be holy. In this study, you will discover that holiness is not an arbitrary standard within today's church or an unreachable goal of sinless perfection. Holiness is about pleasing God - living in such a way that it's clear you belong to Him. Holiness is what makes you unique as a believer in Jesus Christ.
