James: Mercy Triumphs (Beth Moore)

James, Jesus’ own brother, started out as a skeptic. See how one glimpse of the resurrected Savior turned an unbeliever into a disciple with Beth Moore’s study James: Mercy Triumphs. Once you get to know both the man and the Book of James, you’ll never be the same again. Bible scholars compare James to the prophet Amos. In other ways, James more closely resembles the Book of Proverbs than any New Testament book. James is a book with many topics -- social justice, joy, hardship, faith, reversal of fortunes for rich and poor, wisdom, gifts from above,single-mindedness, the dangers of the tongue, humility, and prayer -- all of which are covered in this study.

Why I Believe (Chip Ingram)  CANCELLED

What happens when we die? Can miracles be explained? Is there really a God? Answers to questions such as these are as varied as they are confusing, and spring from a variety of mystical belief systems. But the fact is, we can know the truth. This study helps readers understand what life was like for a Jewish Christian during the fi rst century and parallels that to our own trials today.

Special Note: Participants in the Holding Out for a Hero study will have a unique one-on-one time with Lisa just prior to the Brunch with Lisa Harper on Saturday, March 3.
