Ambassador Ministry

First impressions are everything! We want our guests and members to feel the love of Christ the second they pull into our parking lot. Our Ambassador Ministry can make that first impression a memorable one.

Like every ministry at Lenexa Baptist Church our goal is to help fulfill the mission of Christ by Exalting the Savior (Isaiah 25:1), Equipping the Saints (Hebrews 13:20-21), Evangelizing the Sinners (2 Corinthians 5:20-21), Encouraging the Servants (Hebrews 10:25), and Engaging the Sincere (James 1:22).

The Ambassador Ministry covers a wide range of related ministries which includes:

• Parking Lot Attendants
• LBC Shuttle
• Campus Security
• Emergency Response Team

Greeters, Ushers, and Information Desk Associates:

This ministry welcomes and assists our members and visitors before and after the services, making sure all attending feel welcome and answering any questions they may have.  If you have a friendly outgoing personality, love to help others, and have organizational skills come join our ministry.  For more information contact Wesley Vance.

 

Parking Lot Attendants:

This ministry organizes the parking lot before and after all services, offering assistance to all those coming to service.  If you have a servant's heart, organizational skills, a friendly personality, and love to be outside come join our ministry.  For more information contact Wesley Vance.

 

LBC Shuttle:

This ministry provides transportation to and from satellite parking locations before and after services.  If you have a servant's heart, a Kansas CDL license or a willingness to obtain one, a friendly personality, and enjoy being around kids come join our ministry.  For more information contact Wesley Vance.

 

Campus Security:

This ministry provides a secure campus for all our members and visitors.  Team members are conveniently located throughout our campus during services.  If you have excellent communication skills, have a heart to assist people, and can maintain order if a stressful event should occur, then perhaps this ministry is what you have been looking for. Emergency Response Team:

The medical ministry consists of people who want to help not only the spiritual needs of the church but the physical needs too. In the event of an emergency, both major and minor, we are ready to assist as the need arises. With the growing number of people attending on Sundays and Wednesdays, both young and old, we are equipped to handle a skinned knee with a band aid or a heart dysrhythmia requiring an AED. If you have a medical background along with a heart full of compassion and mercy, come and help us grow this ministry to meet the medical needs of the body of Christ.  For more information contact Wesley Vance.
