Deacons Ministry

Lenexa Baptist Deacons are nominated by the congregation. Each nominee must be a member of Lenexa Baptist Church for at least one year.

The Lenexa Baptist Deacon ministry consists of men who meet the following Biblical qualifications:

• Spiritual Qualifications Acts 6:1-6
• Moral Qualifications Acts 6:3; 1 Timothy 3:8-13
• Practical Qualifications
• Tithes
• Faithful Attendance
• Support of Pastor and Staff
• Personal Witness

Deacons are to be servant models in the church.  They serve communion, make in-home visits, teach Sunday school, participate in men's Bible studies, assist the pastors in hospital visits, participate in mission opportunities, serve on committees, and facilitate the benevolence ministry.
