Missions

Local Missions:

Lenexa Baptist Church is actively involved in local missions through ongoing relationships with City Union Mission, Kansas City Rescue Mission, the Crisis Pregnancy Center, Southern Baptist Ministries and others. Recently LBC has been named the "church of the year" by the City Union Mission.  Our church is actively involved with these missions on a regular basis providing both physical and financial resources to those in need.

National Missions:

Lenexa Baptist has sent youth teams and single adult teams to New York City to work with the 411 church located in Times Square.  These teams ministered to the people in this area through servant evangelism, vacation Bible school, and basketball camp. 

International Missions:

Lenexa Baptist is a church with a heart for international missions.  Our church is heavily involved in foreign mission efforts, sponsoring multiple trips to various parts of the world on an annual basis.  Each year we send teams of people to Romania and Mexico.

Over the last six years Lenexa Baptist Church has sent numerous teams to Mexico. We have worked on church buildings, held dental clinics, conducted Vacation Bible School for the children, and partnered with several other churches to build a children's home.

Lenexa Baptist Church partners with a church in Juarez, Mexico. Manuel Estabane, formerly the pastor of our Hispanic ministry, has moved his family to Mexico to minister to the people of Juarez. Several trips are being planned to finish construction on the church and to conduct evangelistic outreaches.

Through consistent giving to the Cooperative Program, LBC supports the ongoing efforts of missionaries supported by the International Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention around the world.
