Worship Ministry

Each and every time we gather as a congregation, we do so for the purpose of exalting Jesus Christ. Our Worship services are about glorifying God as we Worship Him "in Spirit and in truth" (John 4:24).

Worship Choir

A strong choir is a hallmark of Lenexa Baptist Church. The Worship Choir leads in corporate Worship each week and participates in special events such as Easter emphasis and the Christmas Dinner Theater.

The Worship Choir meets Wednesday Evening from 7:00 - 8:30 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall.

Worship Orchestra

The Worship Orchestra is a powerful ensemble that plays in corporate Worship each week. The orchestra also plays for special events at the church as well as the occasional community event.

The Worship Orchestra meets on Wednesday evening from 7:00 - 8:30 p.m. in the Worship Center.

Technical Crew

The LBC technical crew serves the audio, video, lighting and computer graphics needs for the Lenexa Baptist Church Worship Services. We view our "techies" as Worship leaders! Our technical crew serves the weekly Worship services on a rotating basis.

Kidz Praise Choirs

The Pre - K through 6th grade choirs meet during the Fall and Spring semesters. The Kidz Praise Choirs lead in Worship through small scale presentations called POW services (Power of Worship) as well as larger scale presentations such as Christmas concerts or a Spring musical. The children are taught to Worship God through the vehicles of music and drama.

Kids Praise Choirs meet Wednesday evening from 5:45 - 6:45 p.m. in the KIDZ STREET THEATER and adjoining classrooms during the school year.
