Chris Williams joined the Lenexa Baptist Church staff team in November of 2008.  He has served the Lord in full time ministry since 2000.  Prior to that, he served in various volunteer ministry positions. For eight years prior to coming to LBC, he has traveled across North America with KidzBlitz Ministries to minister to hundreds of thousands of boys and girls, moms and dads in churches large and small.  Chris has earned a Bachelor of Theology from Trinity Bible College and a Master of Science in Christian Studies from Calvary Theological Seminary.  Chris and his wife Kate were married in 2005 and have one son, Max.

Chris speaks from the heart as he seeks to take the Word of God into the life of kids.  Through the preaching of God’s Word and the usage of object lessons and illustrations, the goal is to point families to the One who created them and loves them and will never leave them.  

The heart of his ministry has been to connect children and parents to a real and knowable God through Jesus, and give them the strength on the inside to live the Christian life in a carnal world.  Through his ministry, God has blessed him to see many children come to know Christ as Lord and Savior and many others grow in their personal faith.
