Pastor Steve Dighton Welcome to Lenexa Baptist Church
It is my privilege to introduce you to the wonderful church I pastor, Lenexa Baptist Church. As the founding pastor of LBC, I’ve watched it grow from its infancy, meeting in several temporary locations, to now occupying our beautiful facility on 87th Street.

Lenexa Baptist Church has been a church that has captured the attention of the evangelical world, being named
in 2005 one of only 13 “Breakout Churches” in America. In 2006, Lifeway Research featured our church as one of the elite evangelical churches because of our continued passion to reach out with the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Our vision has been to see our church become the conservative flagship church in Johnson County, and we are on our way to becoming that church. We are a church that is built not on gimmicks, personalities and fads, but we have risen to prominence as a church that preaches the Word of God unashamedly and uncompromisingly. We are a church where the love of God compels people to serve, surrender and to sacrifice.

Lenexa Baptist is a church where Jesus is the centerpiece of all we do and it is my pleasure to recommend it to you.
