Brian Richardson has been the Youth Pastor at Lenexa Baptist Church since 2003. Prior to coming at Lenexa Baptist Church he served in three churches as youth minister. Brian has two bachelor's degrees from Southwest Missouri State, one in Music and one in Religious Studies. He also has a Masters of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. God blessed him when he met his wife, Sharla at his first church. They have three boys, Jordan, Jarrett, and Jace.

Brian grew up in a Christian home with parents that loved the Lord and the church. While attending a summer youth camp, he accepted Jesus as his personal Lord and Savior. Since that time, He has been not only been his Lord, but also his best friend. Walking with Him daily is the most fulfilling thing in his life.

Brian believes all Christians are called to be full-time ministers. While attending Super Summer in Missouri, God called him into full-time vocational ministry. While attending college, He confirmed that He was calling him into youth ministry.

Brian's goal is to see each student set on a path to be life-long followers of Jesus Christ. It is his prayer that we will love and follow Jesus and be a light to those who don't know our Lord so they too can come to know Him personally. He hopes each student associated with Lenexa Baptist Church will see the youth ministry as a place of acceptance, fun, and encouragement.
