Worship Associate

Tim Hammond currently serves as the Associate Pastor of Worship at LBC and is responsible for the worship ministry at the Fellowship @ Greenwood. He joined the Lenexa Baptist Church staff in September of 2011.

Tim holds a Bachelors of Worship and Business from Liberty University as well as a Masters of Leadership from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary. He has served in several churches all across Virginia starting in 2001 as well as serving on staff for two years at the Liberty University Center for Worship. He comes most recently from being the Worship Pastor at First Baptist Mulvane, Kansas.

Tim grew up as an IMB missionary kid and served in Brasil for 8 years.  He came to Christ after seeing a baptism in 1990 and asking his parents about the significance of baptism. After realizing that night that he was a sinner in need of a Savior, Tim gave his life to Christ.

Tim's desire and passion is to be a facilitator in teaching and training others to worship. His role is to help others use their gifts to serve the church and glorify Christ.
